How to make a killer YouTube video!

Recently, I have been thinking about making a YouTube page. Maybe do a video log (vlog) or a do a bunch of challenges. Something funny and silly to show my personality. The only thing that is holding me back is I am not sure how to make a great video.

How-To Geek wrote an article called "How to Make Good Youtube Videos". They list 3 steps to making a great YouTube video. Here they are:

1. Use Decent Gear

They tell us that you must have a good camera with a good mic. Does my Iphone 8 count? They also say you need good editing software. Asking for friend, can I use Imovie?

2. Find Your Niche

How-To Geek says that so many people are making the same content. You need to spicy it up and make videos that not a lot of people are making. So maybe I shouldn't do a vlog? I mean I see that a lot.

3. Learn How to Edit Well

People will not watch a poorly edited video. You can have the best content ever but if you do poor editing then no one will take the time to watch. So, I need to study up on Imovie software.

So, now that I know how to make the perfect video do you guys think I should start a YouTube channel?
